Overview

Located in the heart of Milan at V. Ruggero Boscovich, 22, Baldassarre: breakfast, lunch and dinner offers a genuine Italian dining experience that appeals to both locals and visitors. This cozy restaurant brings together a blend of traditional flavors, with a menu showcasing classic Italian staples like Carbonara Spaghetti, Lasagne, Risotto Di Mare, and Pizza Diavola, alongside some inventive interpretations such as 米蘭 炸雞 拼 薯條 (Milanese fried chicken with fries).

The atmosphere here strikes a fine balance between warmth and simplicity. Guests often mention feeling ‘at home,’ especially when seated outside, enjoying fresh air and the lively street view. The service deserves special mention—staff are described as friendly, humorous, and attentive, which adds a layer of comfort to the dining experience. While some report a moderate wait time, this is often offset by the quality and authenticity of the dishes served.

Baldassarre shines particularly in its pasta offerings. Dishes like Trofie Al Pesto Con Patate E Fagiolini and the seafood tagliolini receive consistent praise for their fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The signature tiramisú is a must-try; its sublime texture and richness make it a perfect ending to any meal. Pizza lovers will appreciate the authenticity in the bread and sauce—true to Milan’s tradition—making each bite notably satisfying.

The menu is thoughtfully curated to cater to diverse tastes and meal times—from rich breakfasts with coffee and bruschetta, to hearty dinners featuring steak and chips or the creamy delight of Crema Catalana. Drinks such as Limoncello and Апероль (Aperol) round out the experience, adding a touch of local spirit to the meal.

While the space is intimate, it fits well with the restaurant’s approachable vibe, ideal for casual meals or relaxed evenings. The target audience appears broad but leans towards those seeking authentic Italian cuisine in an uncomplicated, friendly environment. The combination of good food, attentive service, and a central location near Milano Centrale makes Baldassarre a compelling option for both quick bites and lingering dinners.

In summary, Baldassarre captures the essence of Milanese dining without pretense. Its strengths lie in the genuine flavors, welcoming setting, and reliable hospitality. Whether you’re craving a rich plate of pasta, a well-crafted pizza, or a comforting tiramisú, this spot deserves a place on your itinerary when exploring Milan’s culinary landscape.

food was very tasty and authentic! I got the seafood tagliolini and i lovedddd the taste! The serving time for our foods were a bit slow, we waited about 30-40 minutes for everyone’s dish to come but it was worth it! Waiters were very funny and polite, and atmosphere felt safe and beautiful! 100% recommend for newcomers.

All the foods were very delicious and the price was affordable. The service was very great. I came twice, that’s why I tried multiple dishes but I loved them all. I would definitely come here again if I visit Milan in the future.

Overall a good experience. The staff are super friendly with everyone and you would indeed feel welcomed. The carbonara was good however the steak was TOO oily! And also very thin compared to the pictures in the menu. Maximum 0.5 cm. The less fatty parts tasted good though.
